Synopsys science fair for Govt school students

SYNOPSYS (India) Pvt Ltd is organising the second annual science fair and exhibition, "Disha'04," for government and corporation schools on December 4 at St Theresa Girls School, Chamarajpet, Bangalore.

The science fair is jointly organised in association with Friends of Children Trust (a non-profit organisation that helps under-privileged students for education). The event is open to students in 8th, 9th and 10th classes, Mr Pradip K. Dutta, Managing Director, Synopsys (India) Pvt Ltd, said.

"Disha'04 is organised as a part of the company's commitment to the cause of making science and maths more accessible and appealing to young people. Through Disha'04 we hope to ignite young minds to explore the greatness of science and nurture their talent in a productive way."
