Nabard okays Rs 52 cr for Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 52.41 crore to the State from its Rural Infrastructure Development Fund X.

An official spokesman said here that the amount would be expended on 44 road projects of various block panchayats, six road projects and 11 bridge projects of the Public Works Department and a drainage and flood protection scheme in a paddy polder called Pranthan Puthenkari Padasekharam in Kottayam district.
