Lifestyle Developing `Quality of life' Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Centre of Quality of Life, part of the local business school, Alliance Business Academy (ABA), will develop the Quality of Life (QoL) for Bangalore and Karnataka. It will focus on identifying factors of QoL and list them to rationalise, assess, analyse and disseminate the information through the pubic domain to gain larger acceptance and to initiate steps to enhance the quality of life in the community by bringing the issues to the authorities and the Government. The International Quality of Life Studies (ISQOL), which has been publishing the QoL in the US, will be associating itself with the centre to conduct the study of Bangalore and Karnataka. The QoL indicator would be a useful guide for policy makers, product manufacturers and those offering services, said Dr G.R. Narayanan, co-Chair, who will head the team to study QoL of Karnataka.
