THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The coaching terminal at Kochuveli railway station in the city suburbs is expected to be commissioned by the month-end, the Water Resources Minister, Mr Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, has said.

The Minister, who holds additional charge of Railway Development, announced this while making a statement in the State Assembly on Friday. He said in a written reply that that work on the terminal had reached the final phases. The Kerala Sampark Kranthi Express to Nizamuddin will start service from the terminal in due course.

Steps had also been taken to provide parking as well as waiting facilities for passengers reaching the terminal, the Minister added.
