Network Security unveils Xecure Message Service

Our Bureau

Pune , March 16

NETWORK Security Solutions (NSS) has launched Xecure Message Service (XMS), a software that provides end-to-end security for transmission of mobile phone messages.

According to Mr Jagdeep Kairon, Chief Executive Officer of NSS, at no point of transmission can the message be intercepted and the contents changed.

XMS runs as an application on the mobile handset and works in the background to encrypt and decrypt messages.

Explaining the technology, he said the message from the sender's handset is encrypted which then moves to the base station in the same format and lands in the receiver's handset.

The receiver could decrypt it by using a particular code or by XMS that is installed in his handset.

He said for XMS through mobile communication, the company is already in talks with the mobile service providers in seven countries and was close to tying up with a couple of them, one in West Asia and another in Malaysia.
