Corporate gov award for Satyam

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services has been named by global investors as the third best company in Corporate Governance in India, in a survey conducted by Asset Benchmark Research.

The survey covered 110 global institutions investing in the Asian equity markets. Investors were asked to nominate up to six companies demonstrating exceptional governance.

The Chief Financial Officer of Satyam, Mr Srinivas Vadlamani, in a statement said: "Corporate governance assumes a great deal of importance in the Satyam business life. The driving forces of corporate governance at Satyam are its core values, belief in people, entrepreneurship, customer orientation and the pursuit of excellence."
