Citibank, MTV launch co-branded debit card

Mumbai , April 22

CITIBANK has tied up with MTV to launch a co-branded debit card. This card offers benefits to customers at select outlets, which are branded as the MTV Citibank club, said a press release from the bank.

This is the second co-branded card from Citibank and MTV, after the MTV Citibank credit card in 2001.

All MTV Citibank debit and credit card holders automatically become members of the MTV Citibank Club and can avail themselves of the benefits on products and services at select establishments across the country.

These include nightclubs, pubs, restaurants, bookstores, apparel stores, health clubs, mobile phones and accessories stores.

Some of these establishments are Lush & Red Light in Mumbai, Storm, RPM in Delhi, Incognito in Kolkata and I-Bar in Bangalore.

These lounge bars offer benefits to MTV Citibank cardholders such as free entry and discount on food and beverage.

The MTV Citibank card program has also tied with MTV Style Hubs across the country to offer fashion accessories and apparel at an exclusive discount to members.

The MTV Citibank Debit card is in association with MasterCard. There is a rewards programme that ensures that `customers save while they spend'.
