Thiruvananthapuram Airport Director transferred

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mr Narinder Kaushal, Airport Director, Thiruvananthapuram Airport, has been transferred to Mumbai Airport as General Manager (Operations).

Announcing this here, an airport official said that during the three years and five months he was in charge of the Thiruvananthapuram Airport, Mr Kaushal presided over a number of development activities, including strengthening of the runway, taxiways and apron and floodlighting of parking stands and perimeter lighting.

The new international terminal project at Chakai was one of the major projects cleared during this period. It is expected to become operational in a little over two years' time with world-class facilities, he added.
