Petroleum Industry & Economy - Petroleum Aiyar to meet PM today; petro prices may be revised Our Bureau
New Delhi , June 15 THE Government is likely to take a decision tomorrow on the revision of petroleum and diesel prices. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Mr Mani Shankar Aiyar, will meet the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, tomorrow on the issue of revision of petroleum and diesel prices, amidst speculation of a moderate rise. Prices of petroleum and diesel have remained steady since mid-November with the Government not allowing the state-owned oil companies to hike prices even as global crude prices continue to rise.
