Druk Air to link Chennai

NEW DELHI: The national airline of Bhutan, Druk Air has been allowed to operate a daily flight from Bhutan to Chennai, Mumbai and Guwahati. This was agreed to at the recently concluded bilateral air services talks between India and Bhutan.

Druk Air has also been permitted to operate 14 flights a week to Gaya. At present the airline is operating three flights a week to Delhi and five flights a week to Kolkata.

In addition, Druk Air has been permitted to take passengers from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to Singapore and Dhaka. Similarly, the airline has been permitted to carry passengers from Gaya to Bangkok and Yangon. Besides, Druk Air has also been allowed to carry passengers from Guwahati to Bangkok.
