Mumbai , July 10

THE Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) commemorated its 131st Foundation Day by reliving the traditional way of trading. But in-step with technological advancements, the Asia's oldest stock exchange unveiled a new product on the occasion to help investors trade through their mobile phones.

BSE MobiTrade was launched late on Saturday in the presence of the Godrej Group Chairman, Mr Adi Godrej.

The mobile trading service used the BSEWebx trading platform and will be available to users registered for Internet-based trading in BSEWebx, a BSE note said.

The facility allows the Internet-trading user to place an order on BSEWebx either through the computer or a mobile phone.

The user can access the information online on any scrip and perform trading.

The product allows the user to trade on the move and at any time, the note added.
