Essilor ties up with Delta Lens

Bangalore , July 26

ESSILOR India, the fully owned subsidiary of France-based ophthalmic lens company Essilor International, has entered into a strategic alliance with Delta Lens. Essilor has taken 51 per cent stake in the joint venture.

Under the agreement, the current management team of Delta would continue to run the operations with Mr Vipul Motani as CEO of the joint venture, said Mr B. Jayanth, Managing Director, Essilor India Pvt Ltd. He declined to give the consideration of the deal.
