Software Info-Tech - Financial Performance KPIT Cummins net up 19% in Q2 Our Bureau
Pune , Oct. 20 KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd has registered a 11.04 per cent rise in consolidated revenues, touching Rs 77.68 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005, against Rs 69.96 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal. The net profit grew by 19.21 per cent to Rs 7.62 crore (Rs 6.39 crore). The earnings per share stood at Rs 5.30 for the quarter, up from Rs 4.54 for the previous quarter. Announcing the results, Mr Ravi Pandit, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, KPIT, said the revenues from the Advanced Technology Solution (ATS) line of business had grown 20 per cent sequentially in the second quarter. The BPO subsidiary bagged its first significant contract for a technical helpdesk solution with a large multinational. Work on the contract would commence in the third quarter, he said.
