Chennai , Nov. 15

RELIANCE Infocomm has introduced a three-year freedom plan, which entails free incoming calls for three years. The Rs 2,888 plan comes with a starter kit and an LG 2530 handset.

The offer is available from November 14 to 30 only in Tamil Nadu, according to Mr V.G. Somasekhar, Circle CEO, Reliance Infocomm.

Reliance has also introduced two long-validity starter kits. The one priced at Rs 375 will offer six months incoming-free validity, and the Rs 660 kit offers a one-year incoming-free validity.

The company's other offers include top-up vouchers, ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 148, which come with full talk-time on the value of the voucher. This recharge facility is aimed at the rural parts of Tamil Nadu, as an affordable and convenient means of acquiring talk-time, said Mr Somasekhar.

Mr Somasekhar said Reliance's plans of reaching 600 towns in Tamil Nadu had almost been achieved, with 570 towns being covered by Reliance's telecom service. He said by the end of the year, the target would be achieved.
