Vatsa Corp tops investor complaint list: NSE

VATSA Corporation Ltd and Soundcraft Industries Ltd have the largest number of investor complaints pending against them in the last two months, according to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The exchange said that 80 investor complaints were pending against Vatsa Corporation during the last two months. There were 28 complaints pending against Soundcraft Industries Ltd in the same period, the NSE said in a press release on Wednesday.

The other companies in the list are Pal Peugeot Ltd (10 complaints pending), Enkay Texofood Industries (eight), Tata Metaliks Ltd (five), Arihant Industries (four), Patheja Forging & Autoparts (four), Punjab National Bank (four), PTC India (four) and Eider Infotech (three).

Meanwhile, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has published the status of investor grievances for the fortnight ended November 30. There were 494 investor complaints related to non-receipts of share certificates/bonus. During the fortnight, companies have also redressed 430 investor complaints on the same matter, a SEBI bulletin said on Tuesday.

Complaints regarding non-receipt of dividends by investors during the period stood at 207 even while companies have redressed 205 grievances during the period, SEBI said.

Complaints relating to non-receipt of refund orders and allotment letters from investors stood at 178. Companies have redressed 167 investor complaints during the period.

There were 72 investor complaints on non-receipt of debenture certificates, interest on debenture redemption, amount of debentures and interest on delayed payment of interest on debentures. Companies have redressed 100 investor grievances on the same matter during the fortnight, SEBI said.
