Textile expo at Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: Finlay's Mills — a unit of the National Textile Corporation (South Maharashtra) — is holding an exhibition of its cotton products here from Monday to January 15.

The exhibition of a new range of exquisite handcrafted gilt-edged kurtas, premium bedsheets, organdy saris and ready-made garments will be on display at the Finlay's franchisee showroom at Pavan Enclave in Daba Gardens.

The Municipal Commissioner, Mr N. Srikant, will declare the exhibition open. The NTC Marketing Manager, Mr S.M. Sarma, said they would display 100 per cent pure cotton fabrics to meet the requirement of all segments of society.

Mr Sarma that during the past one year, the year-old showroom in Vizag had a turnover of Rs 15 lakh. The Hyderabad outlet had a turnover of Rs 36 lakh per annum, he added.
