L.N. Revathy

Coimbatore, March 6

Internet data centre ABT Info.net, which is promoted by the management of Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), is expanding its seating capacity to 60. The company is located in the college campus at Pollachi. Engaged in the execution of engineering drawings and design contracts, ABT Info has, within three years of inception proposed to more than double its seating capacity. It has also managed to break even within this period. The MCET Vice-Chairman, Mr M. Manickam, told Business Line that the company was eyeing the US and European market for contracts. He said that huge contracts were offloaded to renowned companies, but there were no takers for smaller projects. "ABT Info catered to this segment. There is a huge potential," he added.
