Hyundai R&D centre in Hyderabad soon

Hyundai Motor Group would set up its world-class R&D Centre at Hyderabad soon. The Korean major is also contemplating a manufacturing facility near Tada in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. The State Government has on Sunday agreed to provide 42 acres of land in Hyderabad as sought by the automobile major.

A delegation from the Hyundai Motor Group led by its President, R&D, Mr Lee Hyun Soon, along with Vice-President (R&D), Mr Yang Woong Chul, the Hyundai Motor India Executive Director, Mr Park Han Woo, and Senior General Manager, Mr Woo Moon Man, met the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, at his camp office on Sunday and discussed their intention to set up a Research Centre at Hyderabad.

According to a Chief Minister's Office press release, Dr Reddy highlighted various incentives and facilities the State Government is offering for new industries and projected the State as the destination for manufacturing sector. A detailed power point presentation titled `Destination Andhra Pradesh' was made to the visiting members on the occasion.
