SBH hikes rates on term deposits

Hyderabad , April 3

State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has announced an upward revision in interest rates under NRE, FCNR and RFC term deposits from Saturday.

The rates on NRE term deposits for one year to five years have been increased to 6 per cent (5.9 per cent). Figures in brackets pertain to the earlier rates.

The revised FCNR rates in terms of dollar are for 1-2 years 5.29 per cent (5.15 per cent); 2-3 years 5.29 per cent (5.13); 3-4 years 5.27 per cent (5.11 per cent); & 4-less than 5 years 5.3 per cent (5.11 per cent).

The revised rates in terms of British pound are for 1-2 years 4.78 per cent (4.67 per cent); 2-3 years 4.83 per cent (4.71 per cent); 3-4 years 4.87 per cent (4.73 per cent); & 4-less than 5 years 4.86 per cent (4.72 per cent).

In terms of euro, the rates are for 1-2 years 3.23 per cent (2.98 per cent); 2-3 years 3.52 per cent (3.24 per cent); 3-4 years 3.63 per cent (3.33 per cent); & 4-less than 5 years 3.71 per cent (3.41 per cent).
