`TVS-E No. 2 in APAC dot matrix market'

Riding on a 37 per cent growth, TVS Electronics is now second in the Asia-Pacific serial dot matrix printer market for Q42005, according to analyst firm Gartner.

The company expects the growth trend to continue with demand from large automation projects in government, banking and retail segments. "With innovative products in the offing, we aim to become No.1 in the dot matrix printer segment in APAC," said Mr R S Narendra, Head-Marketing.
