The Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, on Monday said crude oil prices were always a cause for worry and that the Government would address the issues relating to it at an appropriate time. "We have no control over crude oil prices. It's always a cause for worry. I am sure the Government will address it at an appropriate time," he told newspersons.

Asked whether the forthcoming annual general meeting of the Asian Development Bank would discuss rising crude oil prices and its impact on developing economies, Mr Chidambaram said that he was sure that this subject would come up at the meeting of the Governors.

"I can't say when and in what manner. I have no doubt when the Governors meet, the question of fuel prices will come up," he said.
