Subex net rises 47 pc

Telecom software firm Subex Systems Ltd reported a 47-per cent growth in net profit and a 55-per cent growth in revenues for the year-ended March 2006.

Subex clocked a consolidated net profit of Rs 37.87 crore on revenue of Rs 181.43 crore for the year-ended March 31, 2006, compared to a net of Rs 25.72 crore on revenue of Rs 116.55 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Subex's product business accounted for 65 per cent of the total revenues, while the rest came from services. The board has approved a final dividend of 10 per cent (Re 1 on par value of Rs 10). Together with the interim dividend of 15 per cent, the total dividend for the year stands at 25 per cent (Rs 2.5 on par value of Rs 10).
