1. Research Analysts

Business Line is looking for young and dynamic Research Analysts for the weekly Investment World edition on Sundays. Chartered Accountants, MBAs or Chartered Financial Analysts with analytical skills and an aptitude for tracking developments in specific industry sectors and stock markets can apply. Prior work experience is not essential, but an experienced candidate would be fitted at appropriate levels within the organisation.

2. Editorial/Opinion and Investment World

Business Line is looking for sub-editors with 2-3 years' experience for its Editorial/Opinion (daily) and weekly Investment World (on Sundays) sections. The Editorial/Opinion pages feature articles and columns on business, economy. Investment World is targeted at investors.

The job involves editing, re-writing, and making pages, through the week. The Investment World section is cleared on Saturday.

3. BrandLine and The New Manager

Business Line is looking for a sub-editor with 2-3 years' experience, for its two features sections, BrandLine (earlier known as Catalyst), a weekly four-page colour section on branding, advertising & marketing, and a new weekly two-page feature called The New Manager.

The job will involve editing, re-writing, and making the feature pages - both sections are made towards the end of the week.

This section also handles the daily news page for Business Line on marketing, media & advertising and you could be reporting news based on press conferences or interviews or even filing exclusive news reports for this section, apart from writing features for the two sections.

In short, this department offers a fairly well-rounded exposure to both the writing and production part of a feature section.

The New Manager (Mondays)
The New Manager is a section targeted at managers in today's corporate world. It will carry articles of topical interest by senior practising managers, B-school news, profiles of young managers, interviews with senior corporate executives and management gurus. While the readership constituency is expected to be young managers, The New Manager will also focus on the new style, new age manager. It is for any one who can take on the big shifts in thinking required for today's dynamic business environment. www.businessline.in/manager

BrandLine (Thursdays)
BrandLine is the new avatar of Business Line's Catalyst whose renewed focus is BAM: branding, advertising and marketing. Brands are increasingly getting more entwined with our lives and today's debate is not about `why branding' but how brands are seeking a meaningful role in consumers' lives. BrandLine will also focus on two activities that help reinforce brands in consumers' mindspace: advertising and marketing.
