RBI to auction state loans

Mumbai, May 8

The Reserve Bank of India has announced the auction of 10-year State Development Loans for 16 State Governments at an aggregate amount of Rs 5,598.99 crore. The auction will be yield-based and use the multi-price method. The States include Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh. The auction will be held on May 11.
