Indiapost plans `anytime banking'

Mumbai, May 19

Indiapost plans to introduce "anywhere, anytime banking" and bring all facilities provided by the post offices, such as banking, insurance, distribution and retailing services under one roof. Mr U. Srinivasa Raghavan, Secretary (Posts), Department of Post, Ministry of Communications and IT, Government of India, in a press meet here said that with this initiative, Indiapost would target potential customers between the age group of 25 - 45. Indiapost would expand its financial banking network and set up 300 financial offices by March 2007.
