Crossings to invest in UP township

New Delhi , June 9

Crossings Infrastructure Ltd today said it plans to invest Rs 3,000 crore for a new integrated township project spread over 300 acres in Uttar Pradesh.

"The UP Government had announced its policy for private sector investment in housing for both hi-tech township and integrated township. We have already got our company registered and have been issued the licence and we expect the sanction for the detailed project report to happen in the next 2.5 months," Mr Sanjeev Srivastava, Director, Crossings Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, said at a conference here.

The project is being undertaken by Crossings Infrastructure, which is a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by seven developers - Assotech, GaurSons, Supertech, Mahagun, Panchsheel, Paramount, and Ajnara.

With an investment of Rs 3,000 crore over the next five years, the township - which is located on NH - 24, across river Hindon in Ghaziabad - would have residential, commercial and office space, besides service apartments, clubs, and school.
