General Motors appoints dealer

Visakhapatnam, June 11

General Motors India on Saturday inaugurated its full-fledged dealership - Orange Auto - here. On the occasion, Mr Ankush Arora, Vice-President, said the company had 85 sales points and 89 service outlets across the country at present and by the end of the financial year the number could rise to 110 sales points and an equal number of service outlets. "In Andhra Pradesh, we have dealers in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vizag. Three more would be appointed - Nellore, Rajahmundry and Tirupati," he said.

He said the company was launching three new models this year and mini car next year. The company had a manufacturing unit at Halol in Gujarat with a capacity of 85,000 units per annum.
