Nasscom's special Product Forum today

`Prospering in the New Product Ecosystem: Strategies to become a successful product company'- the domestic IT industry's think-tank body, Nasscom's special Product Forum is holding a seminar at Pune on Tuesday, which will focus on the future for companies looking to tap the product business of the industry.

Nasscom's special product forum has been set up in order to provide impetus to the product segment by encouraging companies to venture into product space, and aims to catalyse and address various issues and concerns of companies operating or wanting to tap this segment.

The Nasscom President, Mr Kiran Karnik, will inaugurate the session, which will see i-flex Solutions CEO, India Operations and CFO, Mr Deepak Ghasias, as giving an overview of the product landscape in India before the seminar touches on topics such as the emerging market for products, the importance of marketing strategy for Indian companies venturing into this space. The list of speakers also includes Mr Ram Narayanan, Strategic Business Advisor, Microsoft; Persistent Systems CMD, Mr Anand Deshpande; and the Compulink CEO, Mr Vishwas Mahajan.
