Bangalore, June 14

Mindteck announced the successful development of BeeStack for Freescale Semiconductor to be used with HCS08 microcontroller and the MC1319X series of RF data modems. ZigBee is a wireless data transfer technique for short ranges. It is used in sophisticated electric and water meters. "Mindteck's partnership and development history with Freescale opens the door for more ZigBee-compliant platforms to enter the market," said Mr Bob Heile, Chairman of the ZigBee Alliance. "ZigBee dominates the wireless sensors and control market largely because of its vast selection of compliant platforms produced by the top semiconductor companies in the world." Mindteck is a Bangalore-based design services company and provider of product development lifecycle services in embedded systems development.
