Amara Raja up ahead of Q1 results

Automotive battery maker Amara Raja Batteries Ltd (ARBL) gained 9.49 per cent on Monday. Dealers said the Q1 results, to be announced on Thursday, are likely to be better than expectations. ARBL shares closed at Rs 266.65, up from Friday's Rs 243.65.

The counter also witnessed increased volumes of 1.55 lakh shares compared with two-week average of 31,298 shares on the BSE.
