Garment fair from Aug 12

The Garment Manufacturers and Wholesalers Association (GMWA) is organising a two-day garment fair for manufacturers, dealers and retailers during August 12-13, here.

This is the eighth consecutive edition of the Garments Fair Hyderabad being organised by GMWA. The Speaker of Legislative Assembly, Andhra Pradesh, Mr K.R. Suresh Reddy, the chief guest at the fair, will inaugurate the expo. A fashion show is also being staged.

The show would witness a much wider participation in terms of visitors and exhibitors, who are not only from Andhra Pradesh, but also from as far as Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Bellary, etc., according to a press release from the association.

A variety of product lines covering ranges in cotton and blends, woven & knits, treatments & finishes, prints and patterns, lines & stripes, embroideries & appliques et all, would be on display at the stalls.

Last year, approximately Rs 25 crore of business was affected with 20,000 delegates attending the fair.
