A one-day workshop on Hospital Accreditation is slated for August 12 at The Residency. Organised jointly by the Coimbatore Management Association and Quality Council of India, this workshop conducted by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and HealthCareProviders (NABH) aims to create awareness and educate healthcare providers about NABH standards and the accreditation process.

According to the Senior Vice-President of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Mr U.K. Ananthapadmanabhan, the accreditation board for hospitals is striving to ensure that all healthcare institutions in India accept and adopt their indigenous model of standards and accreditation methodology in line with the requirements, practices, ethics, affordability, culture and ethos of the country's healthcare delivery system.
