New Delhi , Aug. 21

The Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) will hold its second display-cum-sale under Development of Exportable Products and their Marketing Scheme (DEPM) here on Tuesday to coincide with the 24th export award function for top handloom exporters.

An official release said that the show follows the successful one held in the hub of home textiles, Karur in Tamil Nadu. It would provide an opportunity to display the variety of samples produced under various DEPM schemes so that they can act as a link to market these products in various overseas markets.

The function will be presided over by the Union Textile Minister, Mr Shankersinh Vaghela. Gold , silver trophies and gold medals will be presented to 27 exporters for 2003-04 and 2004-05.
