Hyderabad , Aug. 23

Banks should integrate three critical components — customer, technology and employees, if they want to survive in the fiercely competitive market place, according to Mr R.P. Sinha, Chief General Manager of the State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH).

Speaking at a Leadership Training Programme being conducted at the Indian School of Business (ISB) here today, Mr Sinha said the bank was doing this and was poised to achieve greater heights of business in times to come.

Equipping managers

The SBH was for the first time organising the one-week programme, starting today, for 40 senior-level executives of a particular age group to make them more effective and result-oriented.

The programme has been designed to re-orient attitudes, improve marketing skills and equip the senior managers with the latest management tools to meet their goals.

It aims to equip the officials with skills and techniques and `out of box' thinking, to be customer centric, improve delivery systems and identify goals of the bank and be part of the achievement process, a bank press release said.
