Compu-Needs IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, a city-based computer hardware dealer, is launching branded computers.

Called `Com 10', the company's range of branded personal computers will be formally launched on Friday, said Mr Gokul Govind, Managing Director, Compu-Needs IT Solutions. Explaining the company's rationale for venturing into manufacturing branded computers, he explained that there is opportunity in the market for a Kerala-based computer brand.

The `Com 10' brand of computers will be manufactured at the company's unit located in the Technopark-Trivandrum, Mr Govind said. The unit is the first to start manufacturing computer hardware in the Technopark, he pointed out.

The company's range of branded computers will be sold at competitive prices and will offer customers value-for-money, Mr Govind declared. As part of a special launch offer, the company is offering a three-year warranty and free CDs worth Rs 3,000 for each computer purchased, he said.
