Etihad loyalty reward
Meanwhile, the Abu-Dhabi based Etihad Airways also unveiled its new loyalty concept offering immediate rewards to the passenger. "The programme launched by us eradicates the concept of black out periods and flight redemption restrictions. Besides, it offers a choice of payment with the flyer having the option of either paying through the miles that have been accumulated or by paying cash. In addition, a flyer can start redeeming the miles immediately," said the airline's Area Manager, India and Nepal, Mr R. Dougie Douglas. The airline currently operates regular flights to Delhi and Mumbai and is keen to expand to other cities including Bangalore, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram among others.
