Business Objects' new R &D centre

Mumbai, Sept. 15

Business Objects (BO), provider of business intelligence solutions, on Friday announced the launch of a new research and development (R&D) centre in Bangalore. The centre will focus on global product development and will work with regional customers to adapt Business Objects solutions for specific Asia-based requirements. Pidilite Industries, a major synthetic adhesive and sealant producer, is migrating to Business Objects to streamline processes such as sales, inventory, production, finance and marketing. BO is staffed with over 270 software engineers. "Business Objects India is strongly committed to research and innovation in the Asia-Pacific region", said Mr John G. Schwarz, Chief Executive Officer, Business Objects.
