Indian and German scientists came together to discuss issues of consciousness and mind as part of research studies into `Behavioural Neurobiology'.

A four-day seminar was organised at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), here. While Germans are strong in research into neurobiology, India has been probing the issues of mind and brain from a philosophical perspective.

At the seminar, concluding on Friday, issues such asmemory and cognition, consciousness, cognitive analysis and abilities were discussed. The event marks 40 years of Science and Technology cooperation between the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), according to a press release from the CCMB here.
