Meet on cerebral palsy

Hyderabad, Sept. 25

The Indian Academy of Cerebral Palsy (IACP) is organising its firs national conference at Hyderabad during November 25 and 26, and a workshop on spasticity management on November 24 and 25. Experts, medical professionals and non-governmental organisations in the field are expected to take part from different parts of the country. The IACP has been formed by the faculty at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), here. Prof. A.K. Purohit, a well known expert in Cerebral Palsy and Head, Department of Neurosurgery at NIMS, is the General Secretary. The conference aims to bring together teamwork and attention on containing this problem in the country, Dr Purohit said in a press release here.
