Hyderabad , Oct. 3 Mr B. Ramalinga Raju, Chairman of Satyam Computer Services, has said that the engineering services promised an opportunity of $750 billion globally for Indian IT solutions and services companies. The scope of business processing outsourcing too was expanding significantly opening up opportunities in areas like business process engineering, infrastructure services and business process reengineering, Mr Ramalinga Raju, who is also the Chairman of Nasscom, said. Delivering the keynote address at the Indo-Italian workshop on `IT: Education, research and industry' here on Tuesday, he said while IT-BPO opportunities globally were estimated at $750 billion, extended engineering services too offered as big opportunity. Though in nascent stage in India with about $2 billion opportunity, extended engineering services were expected to touch $40 billion by 2020, he said.
