SVP Builders to develop properties in Ghaziabad

Real estate player SVP Builders India Ltd has announced two projects worth Rs 635 crore to be developed in Ghaziabad. The projects include a 23-acre residential complex `Gulmohar Greens' and a commercial complex `The Opulent'.

Gulmohar Greens will have 7-8 acres of covered area and will offer around 1,200 flats, 140 apartments and 90 penthouses.

"The total cost of developing the residential project is Rs 350 crore including the cost of land of Rs 120 crore.

The project will be completed in three years," said Mr Sunil Jindal, Chief Executive Officer, SVP Group.

The Opulent will be developed over two-lakh sq feet with an investment of Rs 100 crore and is expected to be operational in 20-24 months.

SVP Group has presence in hospitality and education segments apart from real estate.

The turnover of the real estate business last year was Rs 25 crore and the company is eyeing a turnover of Rs 100 crore this fiscal.
