BASF Q2 net up 20 pc

Chemicals-maker BASF India Ltd has posted a 20 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 20.37 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, compared to Rs 17 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

Total income (net of excise) increased to Rs 219.76 crore (Rs 191.74) crore, the company told the Bombay Stock Exchange. BASF shares closed at Rs 230.90, down 3.67 per cent on the BSE.
