The Mangalore-based PVS Beedies Pvt Ltd will celebrate its centenary here on December 7. A press release said here that Mr Justice M. Rama Jois, former Governor of Bihar, would preside over the function to mark the centenary celebrations. Mr Justice N. Santhosh Hegde, Lokayuktha of Karnataka, will be the chief guest on the occasion. The release said that PVS Beedi is the country's first branded beedi.
