Symposium on fisheries development

The College of Fisheries, Mangalore in association with College of Fisheries Alumni Association will conduct an international symposium on `Sustainable fisheries development for food and health security' in Mangalore on December 20-21.

Speaking to newspersons on Monday, Dr P. Keshavanath, Dean of the College of Fisheries, said that the theme papers in aquaculture, fish processing technology, food safety, environmental issues and other related areas in fisheries sciences would be presented at the symposium. Dr R.N. Srinivasa Gowda, Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar will inaugurate the symposium.
