Events Variety - Lifestyle Party hard this New Year eve, you will be dropped home! Our Bureau
New Delhi, Dec. 30 Drink responsibly, and leave the drive back home to someone else! This New Year eve, folks in Delhi and Mumbai who plan to party hard can look forward to a free ride home, with a special cab service of around 400 chauffeur driven cars being made available for them. The cab service, available on a pre-registration basis, promises to drop you home safe and sound after the December 31 binge, but with a rider only if you are partying at one of the select premium hotels. The service will be offered between midnight and 4:00 a.m. and party-hoppers wishing to avail themselves of the service would be required to get themselves registered. In Mumbai, the cabs would leave from the Hilton at Nariman Point, the Taj Lands End, Bandra, the J W Marriot at Juhu, the ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton, Hyatt Regency and the Le Meridien. In Delhi, the service would be available from the Le Meridien, The Oberoi and the Shangri La. The service would also be available from the MDH Radisson hotels in Noida and Gurgaon. The drop home initiative, a leaf from dropping home services after parties in the West, is the brainchild of a premium beverages company which has launched a campaign on curbing irresponsible drinking and driving and improving the safety of the roads in the two cities on New Year's night.
