To organise quarterly discussions on related topics

Chennai , Jan. 5

Tandem Consulting Private Ltd, a Chennai-based outsourced service provider offering accounting, payroll management and transaction processing services, plans to organise quarterly discussions on topics related to human resources (HR) and finance pertaining to the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.

According to Mr T.R. Gopalakrishnan, Director, Tandem Consulting, these discussions would serve as a knowledge-sharing platform for the BPO industry.

"Through such discussions we would like to know what other companies are doing to deal with issues such as attrition and cultural orientation," he said.

The discussions are not aimed at bringing about a regulatory change.

"But if participants feel that some points from the discussion can be used to push for a regulation, we will consider doing that," he said.

The discussions would address the HR and finance domains.

Employee loyalty

The first in this series of discussions was held on Friday on the topic `Trends in HR' with focus on employee loyalty.

Companies such as HCL BPO, Delphi TVS and Team HR Services participated in the event.

Tandem Consulting is headed by a team of chartered accountants and provides end-to-end services in accounting and payroll processing, including legal compliances.

It has offices in Bangalore, New Delhi and Chennai and expects revenues of about Rs 80 lakh this fiscal.
