The Madurai District Administration is contemplating holding a pre-job fair training programme, the District Collector, Mr T. Udhayachandran. told Business Line here. Aimed at improving skills, especially in human relations, aspirants not only from colleges but also from select Government and private schools at the plus-two level would be able to undergo the training, he said. While the technical skill of students from engineering colleges in south Tamil Nadu is acknowledged, the drawback is that they are not industrially fit. To obviate this and raise the skill levels, the Electronic Corporation of Tamilnadu has come out with a `Training the Trainers' Manual' and the district administration is ready with 150 sets of DVDs of this manual.
