Just Dial Services announced the launch of its local Internet search engine - www.justdial.com - in a statement on Tuesday. The search engine provides local information for 14 cities: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Pune, Vadodara and Vizag. It also offers listing for businesses. Just Dial is set up to allow users to search local information by company name, product, service, local area and price. "Pursuant to the success of our telephone-based search service, we saw the need to expand our services to reach users via multiple tools," said the Just Dial founder and Managing Director, Mr V.S.S. Mani, in a statement.

Just Dial Services is also planning to launch a mobile phone search service using an sms code in the near future.
