IT services provider Sierra Atlantic and Applimation, an enterprise data management solutions company, haveannounced a partnership to provide data management and archiving solution for Oracle Process Manufacturing. Through this arrangement, Applimation extends its data archiving functionality and Sierra Atlantic becomes its global implementation partner.

The Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Solutions, Sierra Atlantic, Mr G.K. Murthy, in a statement said: "The collective expertise of Applimation's Informia Archive solution and Sierra Atlantic's services will be of great value to the process manufacturing industry as companies are in need of solutions to reduce storage costs, improve system performance and simplify regulatory compliance."
