`Green Day' at US Technology

Green Day celebrations by US Technology saw the IT and BOP services major give away 2007 saplings to the Department of Forests at a function held at its Technopark facility here on Monday. The guest of honour, Mr Benoy Viswom, Minister for Forests, planted the first sapling near the Bhavani building at Technopark. He administered the `Green Pledge' to the audience. According to Mr Alexander Varghese, Centre Head, Thiruvananthapuram, UST, the Green Day is one of the ways in which it delivered its Corporate Social Responsibility.
